Gillespie/Gillespie/Marchbanks win Pigs/LSJ
Written by eddie

August 28: 12 members of the PigStickers fished Lake St. John. Rick(TBM)G. won w/ 5 at 14. Ronnie(TEM) G. placed 2nd w/8#'s. Despite loosing a trolling motor prop, loading up, coming to E's Marine and driving back to fish a couple more hrs, Ryan Marchbanks took 3rd w/8#'s. That's some tough fishing for sure.

Cooler Weather!
Written by eddie

What a long, mean month. August was brutal. Many locals bass fishermen tend to back off from fishing when water temps exceed 90 degrees and you start smelling your boat and your skin cooking in 100+ degree heat. The past 3 months have been extremely tough with August producing next to nothing in the tournament scene. This morning you can feel summer slowly loosing it's bite. We will still have some hot weather but as we move into September good things will happen in the fishing world. Surface water......

SeaArk/Duckhawk

Nice

15'x42" All Weld/No wood MV Jon Boat rig powered by a Merc 20 4-stroke electric start. Winged rear bench makes it easy on tiller steering(click read more for pic of rear seat)..SeaArk's paint job is the best. This paint sticks and looks sharp. I can say the same about construction. 50 years of building boats under Monark/SeaArk name, this company knows what they are doing..Mass produced boats may be cheaper because they are "cheaper". Built to last for sure. I have this one and .....

Schexnayder SLAMS CBC/Larto
Written by eddie

08-07-10~Team Eddie's Marine/Kistler Rod Pro Staffer Doug Schexnayder did a fine job Saturday sacking 5 at 16.43 and winning the big bass money w/a nice 5+ in CBC's August event. CONGRATS TO REELMAN! Job well done. Doug used a one/two punch with surface lures and cranks to take the victory. Despite a slim turnout, perhaps the lowest turnout in the history of this club with 9 members fishing, that's a good sack on such a hot day. Doug had a huge.....

Murray/Holland Win The Tucker Bond Benfit
Written by Eddie

What a day. It was miserable. It was way past hot and the fishing was tough as it gets. Thanks to 90 people that braved 100+ degree weather and extremely tough fishing and many sponsors we donated $15,070 to Brandi and Lance Bond to help with their 9 month old son's medical expenses. Bill Murray and Bob Holland won the event with 5 bass at 11.35 and they won the big bass division with a 4.50...$1,450. I presented the checks to them and they handed it back to the Bond family. Most all of the winners donated their money to the cause. What a great deal! (Pictured from left to right. Bob Holland, Lance, Brandi, Tucker Bond, Bill Murray and Tanner Bond) Murray and Holland....
